# Protocol betreffende de toetreding van de Bondsrepubliek Duitsland en Italië tot de Verdragen betreffende grensarbeiders en stagiaires, gesloten tussen de Regeringen van Nederland, België, Frankrijk, Luxemburg en het Verenigd Koninkrijk van Groot-Brittannië en Noord-Ierland en ondertekend te Brussel op 17 april 1950
### Artikel 1
The Federal Republic of Germany and Italy hereby accede to:
(a) the Convention on Frontier Workers, signed in Brussels on 17th April 1950;
(b) the Convention on Student Employees, signed in Brussels on 17th April 1950.
### Artikel 2
**(a).** The present Protocol shall enter into force when each of the Signatories has notified the Secretary-General of Western European Union of its acceptance.
**(b).** The Secretary-General shall inform the other Signatories of the deposit of each instrument of acceptance.
